Letters
Since a podcast episode can be a big hurdle and this topic affects people on several levels, some of those affected and their relatives have decided to write a letter to the editor. This is due to fears of being recognized, losing control over the reach of the story, being overwhelmed, or the impact on the narrator's everyday life.

“No one around us knew about my mother's illness. My sister and I were on our own."
“I'm not made of porcelain, I'm sick. When I'm functioning, I can do it, and then I expect to be trusted to do so.”

“My wish is that people should be made more aware that relatives also need support.”
"There are cases where people say, “I wish I had cancer.” Of course, not because it would be better or easier, but because it is accepted in society."
